Global Ban ReasonsGlobal bans are to be used with the user commits a severe rule violation, as this significantly impacts their gameplay. Valid reasons for Global Bans are, but are not limited to:

[*]Griefing, (Destroying items/blocks [b]NOT owned by the user)[/b]

[*]Causing harm to the server

[*]Hacking (Exploits)

[*]X-Ray Modifications (Texture packs or otherwise)

[*]Racism/Homophobia/Sexism etc.

[*]Nazi Symbols

Invalid reasons for global bans are, but are not limited to:

[*]Harassment to users/staff (This can possibly be one sided)

[*]Spamming (Spamming as a reason, is not permitted, please be detailed with this reason)

[*]Alternate account of ... (Normal servers are [b]NOT permitted to make alternate account bans, unless that account also falls into the valid ban rules category)[/b]

[*]Bans with [b]ANY harassment/foul language (Bans made before October 1st 2011 do not violate this rule)[/b]

[*]AVO or other such griefing teams (Please refer users such as these to an MCBans staff member)

Remember we follow these rules very strictly, to avoid losing reputation. Obviously we make mistakes once in a while, and are penalized, but that is our fault. Coming on the server to test HoneyPot blocks or to try out griefing is still griefing. If you touch a block that isn't yours, it's called griefing. That's #1. Causing harm to the server is hard for me to understand. I consider it DDoS attacking, .dropping, lagging up the server in any malicious way, or stuff similar to that. Hacking is prevented on our server, but we get the occasional light hacking. XRay is not of our concern anymore, we use AntiXRay. We get a lot of racism, and you'll see the [RACISM] tag in our bans. We haven't gotten a swastika yet so it doesn't matter much. Thanks for your understanding of how we issue our ban, and accepting the bans for what they say.
